Service Description
Dogs enrolling should be under general off lead control of their handler with ability to sit, down, stay and come when called. Dogs and handlers will learn to work together as a team to build skills needed for success in dog agility, for fun or for future competition. Instructor Heather Smith has been training and competing in USDAA and AKC agility for 40 yrs. As a co-founder of Dallas Agility Working Group, since 1985 she has taught a variety of classes using positive training methods. Her agility breeds include Cocker Spaniel, Border Collies, Gorden Setter and Mini Schnauzer. Rudy, a 7-year-old Mini Schnauzer is her current competition dog who is at the master's level in both venues. "Agility is a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog weather or not competition is your goal. I look forward to guiding your team on this adventure" says Heather.

Springfield Family Dog Training LLC Agreement to Hold Harmless Waiver and Assumption of Risk I understand that the safety of myself, my dog, and all others is of primary concern. No training suggestion, direction, or advice should take the place of prudence or common sense in any circumstance. I understand that attendance at a dog training lesson, class, event, or premises is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend, or my dog. Dogs to which I may be exposed, including my own, may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care and caution. Any product recommendation is based on personal opinion only and no guarantee of satisfaction is implied. I hereby indemnify and hold harmless, waive, and release Jane Collins and Springfield Family Dog Training LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from all liability of any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of any damage or injury from any and all causes while attending any training session, event, or any other function, or while on the training grounds or surrounding area thereto. I understand that this agreement extends to any and all who accompany me to training or come at my invitation, including all dogs and humans, beginning immediately and extending with no expiration. Excusal from participation/premises statement: Each visitor, owner and dog are permitted to attend classes and be present on property at the sole discretion of Jane Collins and Springfield Family Dog Training, Inc. Each instructor may at his/her discretion remove a dog and/or owner, or any guest from a session or class, or end a session or class at any time. The decision to allow further participation of the excused dog and/or owner, or guest in classes, events, or use of facilities, etc. is at the sole discretion of Jane Collins and Springfield Family Dog Training, Inc. Cancellation policy: Payment is due for training sessions cancelled by the client with less than 24 hours’ notice. No make- up session is guaranteed for missed group classes. Facility rental must be cancelled 2 weeks in advance. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis due to emergencies etc. I realize photos may be taken and I give my permission for the image of myself, my child, and/or my dog to be posted on social media now or in the future.
